PROJECT: University Scholarship Program in India for Tibetan Students
OFT’S UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Since it is very difficult for students to finance courses beyond High School, OFT decided to provide University scholarships annually to 3 students starting in 2015 on the special occasion of HH the Dalai Lama’s 80th Birthday. An additional student was added in 2016. The Department of Education chooses three first year undergraduates to receive these scholarships until their graduation.
