Ottawa Friends of Tibet (OFT)is building the Tara Mandala Seniors Home in Kalimpong, India. The fifty-bed seniors home is a joint project with the Dalai Lama for Tibetan refugees who escaped with His Holiness in the 1950s. The Tibetan Relief Committee is contributing $200,000.

Join the One Brick at a Time Campaign, make a donation* of $50 or more, and receive a framed photo of Pema, a Tibetan senior; it’s a memento that says thank-you for your donation.

*It makes a wonderful gift in the name of a friend or family member.

Please contact the OFT at www.oft.ca or
call 613-738-9871 for more details.

OFT is a registered Canadian Charity (#87685 9919RR0001) and offers tax receipts for donations.

Pema, 78 years of age.
Please make sure I have a room at the seniors home

Like Pema, many elderly refugees have lived a life of destitution. OFT hopes to change their future.
